With winter coming quickly in many parts of the US, I am reminded that outdoor adventures don't have to stop when the snow begins to fall...especially if you're playing in Opposite of Far! Pull a mask over your rosy cheeks, tie a tail to your cold bum and slip your frozen fingers into cozy paws and hit the winter wonderland at full speed!       

My goal for 2017 is to get more connected with Opposite of Far friends & fans! In an effort to create a deeper Opposite of Far community and more mindfully encourage, support and celebrate play + imagination for all kiddos I'm collecting stories from my Imaginears (that's you!)! I want to hear how you and your kids use Opposite of Far in your daily lives, playtime and routines. I have heard stories as sweet and simple as a big brother placing tiger ears on his new baby brother. I have heard stories about children using masks as an ice-breaker of sorts...

Every Thanksgiving week we donate 10% of our sales to a local community group that helps our neighbors. With the help of our generous customers, we were able to give generously last year, and hope to do the same again this year.  Opposite of Far gives to Hoosier Hills Food Bank and Mother Hubbards Cupboard in Bloomington, Indiana.  You can shop for all the kiddos in your life, then tell them what a good thing we did together during the most thankful time of year! I am such a fan of Briar Handmade and now with their sweet woodland bonnet collection I've fallen even more in love! I loved creating the matching tails to pair with their darling bonnets! These sets make the darling costumes, but will also be loved through many stories, adventures and play dates!
